Who may avail the services so as to have a better life.

Patients fulfilling all the following criteria, have good benefit potential for ET services:-

• Insufficient vision- ranging between 6/12 to finger counting 1 foot with both eyes using best optical correction. Thus, these are the people, who are neither totally blind, nor they have normal eyesight.
• Vision should be stable and not fluctuating.
• Field of vision- minimum 5 degree or more.
• Their vision can not be improved to adequate level with / without the best lenses (optical prescription)
• Moreover, eye specialist Doctors either accept that the vision defect is not amenable to anymore correction with any medicine, surgery and exercises or keep on prescribing some multivitamin, multi minerals and antioxidant etc. treatment in the hope of some ? favorable result.
• Such people experience difficulties in daily living at home and work place as well as in recreation due to impaired vision in spite of using the best eye glasses ( if advised ).
• Those people are more likely to avail  advantage who have the need, motivation and will to use the residual vision.

ET services are likely to help such candidates to read and write, do their daily chores and pursue a job / hobby, so that they also may lead worthwhile satisfying and independent life.

Apart from above criteria, anyone is welcome, who is facing discomfort in daily life, because of vision even if V.A. is better then 6/12.
